"Photograph" by: Nick Swan
Yeah...I tried callin you on the phone
But there's never anybody home
I've been thinkin bout you since the day I left
I've been wonderin if we'll ever meet again
We were far away from home, somewhere on the streets of Rome
When we met that day
When you took your hand in mine, I thought that God had stopped the time
Then I heard you say:
"Hold on, real tight...oh I never wanna leave you tonight
Let's make this night a night that we won't forget
Right now, I've got a feelin that it's something good"
Amongst the ruins you looked so fair
I took a photograph of you just standing there
There was magic in the air, something both of us could share
For a transient time
Though we knew the time was nigh, we couldn't speak of how or why
We would say goodbye
So don't be shy, oh I really wanna see you tonight
Let's make this night a night that we won't forget
Right now, I've got a feelin that it's something good
I've got your picture on a photograph
But I don't know if we'll ever meet again (2x)
What I would give just to see your face
This photograph just ain't the same
Why don't we pick a time and place
Where we could sail away
So don't be shy, oh I really wanna see you tonight
Let's make this night a night that we won't forget
Right now, I've got a feelin that it's something good
I've got your picture on a photograph
But I don't know if we'll ever meet again
I've got your picture on a photograph
So come on...tonight
Come on...tonight
Come on...I've got a feeling that it's something good

The Bottom

"The Bottom" by: Nick Swan
Everyday somebody will say
"There's nothing you can do in the world no more."
Prophets of doom all say the same thing
And not one thinks he could be wrong
But everyone here's in a new situation
We count all the thoughts of an old generation that's come and gone
We take what we can and the rest is abated
We leave it out there in the wind, yeah
When you're blowin in the wind
Take a look my friend
I just hit the bottom, I just hit the bottom
Float along into the abyss
If you think you'll miss
I just hit the bottom, I just hit the bottom
For a while stay in the same place
That's how life gets to be just a bore
Daily cycles that we all face
Can make life seem more like a chore
But everyone here's in a new situation
We count all the thoughts of an old generation that's come and gone
We take what we can and the rest is abated
We leave it out there in the wind, yeah
When you're blowin in the wind
Take a look my friend
I just hit the bottom, I just hit the bottom
Float along into the abyss
If you think you'll miss
I just hit the bottom, I just hit the bottom
I'm stepping off the ledge now, into the wind
I know this could be wrong, but something's gotta give
I'm moving to the light now, to the sun
There's no more turning back, and nowhere left to run
I'm flying over clouds now, up above the sea
There's something in the air there waiting for me
I've said all my goodbyes now, nothing left to say
Except for all the things I never got to say
When you're blowin in the wind
Take a look my friend
I just hit the bottom, I just hit the bottom
Float along into the abyss
If you think you'll miss
I just hit the bottom, I just hit the bottom
